Alien Dishwasher is an instrumental one man project from a man named Mariusz who was previously in the Irish based project Ciernie. During his time with the band he got into music production. Initially to save money, but it blossomed over time. Other life factors came into his life before returning with Alien Dishwasher.

This is his third solo album as of now and all within less than eighteen months, which is incredibly prolific and all are really good. He has taken it forward though on this album. It’s a truly magnificent album that despite its lack of vocals, it almost makes up for them with the standard of his playing. The harmonies etc all hit hard and the musicianship is of the highest caliber. There’s so much going on in this album it’s hard to put into words. I wouldn’t do it justice anyway, I’d make it sound like some sort of Frankenstein’s monster rather than the amazing work it truly is.

This is definitely an album I’ll be returning to near the end of the year when I’m looking at my end of year lists for sure. Due to his prolific nature, he may have another album out by then?
